Disney and LucasFilm released five posters featuring Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), Finn (John Boyega), Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), with all except Leia holding up their weapon of choice.

The official "Star Wars" Instagram account shares Han Solo poster along with caption, "The scoundrel returns December 18. #StarWars #TheForceAwakens #movie." Carrie captions her Princess Leia poster on Twitter, "Oh Luke, don't ask for the moon, we have the force. #TheForceAwakens."

John also shares his Finn poster on Twitter. "As promised! Sneaky gift! The official FINN poster for Star Wars! #HeHasSomethingToFightFor #TheForceAwakens," the 23-year-old actor captions it.

Daisy excitedly shares her poster as well on Instagram, captioning it, "It is my very great honour to reveal this INSANELY EXCITING poster for The Force Awakens!!!! IT'S REY!!! Looking all freckly from the Jakku sun and as if there's an adventure to be had!!! AHHHH! #starwars #theforceawakens #ermagerdsoexciting #whoelseisexcited #wearesoclosehowarewesoclose #canitbedecembernow."

Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker is conspicuously absent from the new promotional materials. He was noticeably absent when "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" poster was released in October. When asked about Luke's absent from the promotional posters, director J.J. Abrams previously said, "It's no accident that you asked that question. But I can't wait for you to find out the answer."

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on December 18.
