AceShowbiz - While not much has been heard lately about his highly-anticipated "Tha Carter V" album, Lil Wayne is reportedly working on a new mixtape. DJ E-Feezy revealed in some Instagram posts he sent out over the weekend that the rapper's readying "No Ceilings 2".
The Miami DJ and radio personality shared on the social media a couple of videos featuring Wayne rapping a new verse over Future's "Where Ya at" during a gig at the Ivy Nightclub in South Beach.
"Well we can officially say 'No Ceilings 2' is on the way #LILWAYNE," E-Feezy captioned one of the clips. He wrote alongside the other video, "#LILWAYNE Dropped exclusives last night at Ivy 'no ceilings 2' ????? You ready?!"
News about the mixtape appeared to be confirmed later by Young Money's boss Mack Maine, who simply wrote the hashtag "#NC2" on Twitter and told fans to be patient. "Not tonight...lil impatient creatures don't rush greatness," he said.
"No Ceilings 2" will be a sequel to Tunechi's "No Ceilings" mixtape that turned 6 in October this year. No official release date has been set for the upcoming project, which will likely be the rapper's third mixtape following "Sorry 4 the Wait 2" and "Free Weezy Album" amid his war with Cash Money, which indefinitely delayed his "Carter V" almost a year ago.
