AceShowbiz - British singer Ed Sheeran couldn't hide his excitement upon passing his driving test. He took to Twitter over the weekend to share the happy news with his fans. "Passed my driving test yesterday, zoom zoom zoom," read his tweet.

The news was reiterated by driving school Total Driving who took to Facebook on Thursday, October 29 to congratulate the Grammy-nominated star on his achievement. The driving school posted a picture of the smiling redhead posing with his certificate in his hands. "Congratulations to Ed S who passed his car test with us in Ipswich this afternoon. Good effort Ed!!!" read its accompanying caption. The post has since been removed though.

Three months prior, Ed proudly passed his theory test. He was seen waving his certificate about as he emerged from a test centre in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

In another Ed news, he has recently announced plans to take a nine-month break from music after the middle of December. "I am constantly on my phone, texting, replying to emails, on Twitter, on Snapchat, on Facebook. I just want to get off it and live and drive to places and listen to music and have normal conversations with people and get back to normality," he was quoted as saying. "I've got a packed schedule, then, when December 12 comes, it's done."
