With the newly announced schedule of 'Vinyl', 'Girls' and 'Togetherness', HBO is either moving 'Game of Thrones' off Sunday slot or debuting it in late April.

AceShowbiz - There's a big chance "Game of Thrones" will not follow previous years' pattern in the upcoming season 6. The hit HBO show normally debuts sometime in early April but it looks like it would premiere later than usual next year.
HBO has just announced its Spring slate which includes Martin Scorsese's new rock drama "Vinyl". The much-hyped project will kick off February 14 and run for 10 episodes, which means it won't end until April 17. Comedies "Girls" and "Togetherness" are returning February 21 and will conclude their 10-episode runs on April 24.
"Vinyl" is occupying the Sunday 9 P.M. time slot, which is "Game of Thrones" regular spot. Unless HBO would like to change the airing schedule of its biggest TV show, "Game of Thrones" will premiere at the earliest April 24 before the finales of "Girls" and "Togetherness".
The first season of "Game of Thrones" premiered on April 17, which was actually the latest in its calendar. Meanwhile, season 3 premiered the earliest on March 31. The sixth season is particularly highly-anticipated due to the big death in the last episode of season 5. [Spoiler Ahead] Fans are seeking answers especially after finding out that the actor behind the character continues filming despite his apparent fate.
HBO told Huffington Post that it has not determined the schedule for "Game of Thrones" or its any other series.
