AceShowbiz - Derek Jeter is taking his relationship with Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, Hannah Davis, to the next level. According to a scoop from Page Six, the former New York Yankees player proposed to his girlfriend over the weekend.
"He proposed on Sunday," a source spilled. "It was for their [3-year] anniversary." Before getting down on his knee, the 41-year-old retired athlete reportedly asked Davis' parents "for permission" for her hand in marriage "a few months ago."
Last year, he suggested that he's ready to build a family after retiring. "I was too selfish to be able to juggle a family and kids. But I look forward to it happening. I just know that I ... couldn't have done it while I was playing," he explained why he didn't settle down sooner.
