AceShowbiz - It's been a year since Taylor Swift released her latest album, "1989". First making its debut on Billboard 200 at No. 1, the massively successful record has never left the chart's top 10 and is now celebrating its full first year in the region.

Released on October 27, 2014, "1989" spent 11 nonconsecutive weeks at Billboard 200's top spot. In its 52nd week on the chart, it fell from No. 6 to No. 9 with 37,000 equivalent album units collected in the tracking week ending on October 22, reports Nielsen Music.

According to Billboard, there are only four other albums which spent their first year in the top 10 of Billboard 200. The last to do so was Adele's "21" that stayed in the region for 78 straight weeks following its 2011 release. The other three titles are Celine Dion's "Falling Into You" (59 weeks, 1996), Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the U.S.A." (84 weeks, 1984) and Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" (52 weeks, 1977).

With "1989", Swift has won multiple awards and broken several records. She has also scored three No. 1 hits on Billboard Hot 100 with the album's singles "Bad Blood", "Blank Space" and "Shake It Off".
