In addition to spending time with his family, Tomlinson plans to continue working with frequent writing partner Payne as their band takes a break next year.

AceShowbiz - Louis Tomlinson won't entirely stop working with the other One Direction members when the group takes a much-deserved break next year. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, he revealed that he'd still write songs together with at least one of the boys.

Tomlinson told the publication that he didn't plan on spending the whole time relaxing during the hiatus. "Being my age and being able to be in a position where I can help people out and give opportunities to other people is the most exciting thing to me," he explained. "I mean, don't get me wrong, I do aim to have a couple months' downtime to see the family, go home, do all that stuff, but yeah, I do hope to be busy, as well."

One of the things he wants to do to keep himself busy is to continue working with frequent writing partner Liam Payne. "I enjoy that, with Liam. But it's all kind of up in the air at the moment," he said and added, "We definitely will. I'm sure we will."

After about five years of working together on five full-length albums and four tours, One Direction broke millions of Directioners' hearts when they announced that they'd take a break starting next year. The boys are currently on the European leg of their "On the Road Again" tour while preparing the release of their fifth LP "Made in the A.M.".
