AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom is on the mend as it has been reported that he's been able to open his eyes and communicate. Even greater, the former NBA star was said to have asked to see his children; Destiny and Lamar Jr.
Entertainment Tonight was first to report the update. The outlet cited Alvina Alston, a spokesperson for Lamar's aunt, JaNean Mercer, who claimed the 35-year-old athlete was able to open his mouth and speak on Friday, October 16. According to Alvina, Lamar gave his doctor a thumbs up and responded, "Good morning," when he was asked how he was doing.
Another source, meanwhile, told Radar Online that Lamar had his breathing tube removed on Friday morning. And when the tube was removed, "He opened his eyes and made a sound." Another source added, "He opened his eyes around 10:30 a.m. PT and made a sound like a whisper."
Earlier that day, it was reported that Lamar was conscious after four days in coma. He was said to be able "to say hi to Khloe."
