AceShowbiz - As "Kong: Skull Island" has started production in Hawaii, some on-set photos have made their way online. The photos give a look at the filming location where a gigantic skull was spotted. There has been a speculation that the skull belongs to one of the titular monster's ancestors.

Besides, there is a photo of Samuel L. Jackson, Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell along with other cast and crew members gathering on the set of the movie. Jackson then took to Instagram to tease fans with a behind-the-scenes photo. The picture shows himself in front of an old helicopter. The actor is seemingly learning to navigate the vintage vehicle. "Bout to learn to drive some new/vintage s**t! Fun Fun Fun!!" he captioned the photo.

"Kong: Skull Island" takes place in the mysterious and dangerous home of the king of the apes. It will reportedly follow a team of explorers (led by a character played by Tom Hiddleston), who venture deep inside the treacherous, primordial island to find a mythical serum, confronting extraordinary creatures along the way.
Brie Larson, John Goodman, Jing Tian, John Ortiz, Shea Whigham and Toby Kebbell are also on board to star in the upcoming film. Jordan Vogt-Roberts serves behind the lens while Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Alex Garcia and Mary Parent produce the movie. The fantasy movie is slated for a U.S. release on March 10, 2017.
