The 'Transporter: The Series' actor will play the Kryptonian villain, who takes a slightly different direction from the comic book's version.

AceShowbiz - "Supergirl" is adding yet another villainous character for its freshman season. Chris Vance, who played Frank Martin on TNT's "Transporter: The Series", is cast in a recurring role as DC Comics villain Non, says The Hollywood Reporter.

On the upcoming CBS series, Non is depicted as a former scientist in a league with the House of El. He is described as a brutal Kryptonian military officer who is sinister, powerful and angry. An antithesis of all things Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) stands for, Non will quickly become Supergirl's greatest threat.

Vance will first appear in episode 8 of the first season. He joins Chris Browning, Owain Yeoman and Iddo Goldberg who were previously tapped to play the villainous Reactron, Vartox and Red Tornado respectively.

Also in the cast of the new series are Chyler Leigh as Kara's foster sister Alex Danvers, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, Calista Flockhart as Kara's boss Cat Grant, Laura Benanti as her birth mother Alura Zor-El, Mehcad Brooks as Kara's love interest Jimmy Olsen, Jenna Dewan-Tatum as Lucy Lane and many others.

"Supergirl" launches Monday, October 26 at 8:30 P.M. on CBS, before airing in its regular slot beginning Monday, November 2 at 8 P.M.
