AceShowbiz - Calvin Harris is clearly unhappy with the rumors made by some news outlets saying that he and his current girlfriend Taylor Swift have split up. The Scottish DJ took to Twitter to slam the guy who made the rumors.
According to a screengrab taken by Perez Hilton, Calvin tweeted, "I don't know what the guy who makes up stories for newspapers looks like but it's probably similar to this." The post was accompanied by a picture of the 31-year-old DJ with a smiling guy who donned novelty eyeglasses with fake eyes. The post was soon removed from his Twitter account.
The couple has received extensive media attention since they were rumored as a couple earlier this year. Last month, Taylor had to come to her own defense to deny any false rumors about her. "What the press says I'm doing: Buying a Bev Hills mansion, getting married in an English castle. What I'm doing: Playing a show in St. Louis," she tweeted.
Due to the incessant media attention, the two reportedly opt for a more private meetup if they want to go for a date. "The attention was getting to be too much for them," a source told HollywoodLife. "They want to take the pressure off and not have everyone's eyes on them. They're trying to be more private when they meet up. They realized it was a mistake to share so much on social media - they just want some privacy back."
