AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen admitted to have been feeling relieved that she has opened up about her fertility struggles recently. Catching up with Marc Malkin of E! News the model-actress revealed she and singer husband John Legend have been receiving outpouring support since.
"It's a sweet question. It comes from a good place but sometimes you never know what the person is going through," Teigen said at the launch of Verizon's new mobile video service, go90. "You're like, 'I'm trying.' What I really want to say is, 'I'm trying and I can't.'"
"I just wanted to talk about it for so long," she continued. "It didn't feel right to tweet like, 'Ugh, doing my IVF shots again.'"
Teigen went on telling E! News, "Usually I'm getting crap from people [on social media], but the amount of stories that were shared to both of us was really cool to see." She revealed further, "Like I said, John and I have been going through this for years and it's something that has been a part of our lives and our friends have known. So it's just nice to have a show and kind of acknowledge it to people because I felt like I was keeping a secret from them and it was weird. So it's nice to have all my social media friends know and have them share their stories, too."
"I think we just have really good people around us that never said anything or else you would have known," Teigen added. "Nobody said a thing. I swear, I have a team of maybe 60 people, John has hundreds and everyone knew. The failures, the successes, everything but it's never gotten out. We've been open about it just never public."
