AceShowbiz - Coldplay was among the musical guests at the star-studded Global Citizen Festival Saturday afternoon, September 26 at Central Park in New York. The band shared the stage with Ariana Grande and collaborated with Ed Sheeran at the benefit concert.
"Thank you @coldplay [heart emoji] it was an honor to say the least #GlobalCitizenFestival," Grande gushed on Twitter after their live duet on her song "Just a Little Bit of Your Heart". Sheeran posted a similar message on Instagram, "Thank you global citizen for the amazing work and such a great crowd."

Hosted by Stephen Colbert and Hugh Jackman, the concert was attended by the likes of Sophia Bush, Laverne Cox, Aaron Paul, Usher, Zach Braff, Nev Schulman, Olivia Wilde, Connie Britton, Freida Pinto, Kerry Washington, Diane Kruger, Bono, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Katie Holmes.
Also in attendance were First Lady Michelle Obama, Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Vice President Joe Biden, and Queen Rania of Jordan.
