The veteran country singer announces while promoting his 'Once Again It's Christmas' album on 'Today' show that he's going on a massive world tour before retiring.

AceShowbiz - Kenny Rogers dropped both good and bad news on Friday, September 25. During an appearance on "Today" show, the country music legend announced that he's planning to go on a world tour, which sadly would be his last. After completing the trek, he's retiring.
"It's happily sad or sadly happy," he said. "I'm going to do a big worldwide tour, and it's going to be my last. I'm going to say goodbye at that point; I've done this long enough. There's a fine line between being driven and being selfish, and I think I crossed that line when I was younger."
The veteran musician, who has five kids including 11-year-old twins Jordan and Justin, went on explaining his decision, "I really want to be there with my kids and my wife. I don't see enough of them. And I have some things on my bucket list."
Rogers originally appeared on "Today" show to promote his new Christmas album, "Once Again It's Christmas". To support the record, which marks his sixth Christmas effort and his 37th studio installment, the singer will launch his "Once Again Its Christmas Tour" on November 12 at Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Meanwhile, details of his farewell tour are still unknown.
