Christina Hendricks in Talks to Star in 'Fist Fight'

The 'Mad Men' actress is in negotiations to star in the New Line's school-themed comedy, joining the likes of Ice Cube and Charlie Day.

AceShowbiz - Christina Hendricks is in talks to star in New Line's comedy starring Ice Cube and Charlie Day, "Fist Fight". According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Mad Men" actress is lining up to play an intense drama teacher who has a crush on Cube's character.

The story follows two teachers (Cube and Day) who work in a broken-down school system and wind up in an epic fist fight. Hendricks will join the likes of Jillian Bell, who will play a guidance counselor, and "Breaking Bad" alum Dean Norris, who will portray the school's principal. Tracy Morgan is also in the lineup to star as the school's coach.

The principle photography is scheduled to commence later this month in Atlanta. Shawn Levy is producing with Max Greenfield and John Rickard, while Day is executive producing with Dan Cohen, Marty Ewing and Billy Rosenberg. Richie Keen is directing "Fist Fight" with a script written by Evan Susser and Van Robichaux.

Hendricks recently starred in Ryan Gosling's directorial debut "Lost River" alongside Eva Mendes and Ben Mendelsohn. She will next be seen in Nic Refn's "The Neon Demon" opposite Elle Fanning.
