The Republican presidential hopeful said in a tweet he would stop giving interviews for the news outlet due to unfair treatment.

AceShowbiz - After making peace with NBC, Donald Trump takes on a new enemy. The GOP presidential hopeful reignited his war of words with FOX News, saying he would stop giving interviews for the network in "foreseeable future." The news outlet responded by saying that his attacks against them were getting "stale and tiresome."

Trump tweeted on Wednesday, September 23 morning, "@FoxNews has been treating me very unfairly & I have therefore decided that I won't be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future." FOX News responded in a statement released a few hours later, "At 11:45 a.m. (ET) today, we canceled Donald Trump's scheduled appearance on 'The O'Reilly Factor' on Thursday, which resulted in Mr. Trump's subsequent tweet about his 'boycott' of Fox News."

The decision to pull it off the schedule came on the heels of Trump's criticism against O'Reilly and FOX News anchor Megyn Kelly via Twitter. "The press predictably jumped to cover his tweet, creating yet another distraction from any real issues that Mr. Trump might be questioned about," FOX News' statement continued. "When coverage doesn't go his way, he engages in personal attacks on our anchors and hosts, which has grown stale and tiresome. He doesn't seem to grasp that candidates telling journalists what to ask is not how the media works in this country."

Trump did not tweet about FOX News again but thanked CBS and "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" for having him on Tuesday's show.
