'Steve Rannazzisi: Breaking Dad' is still set to air September 19 as Comedy Central confirms there are no changes to its schedule.

AceShowbiz - While Buffalo Wild Wings cuts ties with Stephen Rannazzisi, Comedy Central decides to keep the embattled comedian despite being "disappointed" by his action. The network goes ahead with his stand-up special, "Steve Rannazzisi: Breaking Dad", set to air Saturday, September 19 at 8 P.M. as originally scheduled.

For many years, Steve Rannazzisi has repeatedly lied about surviving 9/11. He claimed that he was on the 54th floor of the south tower working at Merrill Lynch's offices when the first plane crashed. He said he managed to run to safety just minutes before another attack. He realized that, in the aftermath of the terrorist attack, life was too precious so he decided to move to L.A. to pursue his dream job as an entertainer.

"I was not at the Trade Center on that day," he issued an apology recently. "I don't know why I said this. This was inexcusable. I am truly, truly sorry." He admitted to working in Midtown, and not for Merrill Lynch, when the twin towers fell. Merrill Lynch itself has no record of his employment and had no offices in either tower.

Rannazzisi also stars on FX's series "The League". The network decided they would continue to air the seventh and final season of "The League" as well. "We believe Steve is sincere in his apology and will do everything he can to make amends moving forward," they explained in a statement.
