AceShowbiz - FX has unleashed the first teaser for "American Crime Story". Sharing no footage from the upcoming TV series, it previews O.J. Simpson's murder trial through the lines delivered by several characters such as Simpson himself (Cuba Gooding Jr.), his attorney Robert Shapiro (John Travolta) and prosecutor Marcia Clark (Sarah Paulson).

The first season of the new anthology series will focus on the 1995 sensational murder trial that involved O.J. Simpson. It promises to explore the chaotic behind-the-scenes dealings and maneuvering on both sides of the court, and how a combination of prosecution overconfidence, defense shrewdness, and the LAPD's history with the city's African-American community gave a jury what it needed: reasonable doubt.

Also starring on the show are David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian, Courtney B. Vance as Johnnie Cochran, Billy Magnussen as Kato Kaelin, Selma Blair as Kris Jenner, Connie Britton as Faye Resnick who befriended Simpson's murdered ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson, and Jordana Brewster as the victim's sister Denise Brown.

The new crime series is created by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, and is executive produced by Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy. It is set to premiere in February 2016 on FX.
