AceShowbiz - A new interesting tidbit about Zayn Malik's solo music has emerged online. Recently, it's revealed that the former One Direction singer had enlisted Grammy-winning producer Malay for his anticipated solo album.
Malay, who's made contributions to a number of top artists' projects including Frank Ocean's successful 2012 album "Channel Orange", announced the news himself in a Twitter post he shared earlier this week.
"Cat's out the bag, it's no secret we've been working. @zaynmalik is pure genius," he tweeted. He continued to praise the 22-year-old heartthrob, branding him "an artists' artist" and "a shining star with a genuine."

Zayn has been preparing to launch his solo career after parting ways with One Direction back in March. He signed a management deal with Turn First Artist which also represents the likes of Iggy Azalea and Ellie Goulding back in July. Shortly after that, he announced he'd joined RCA Records.
