AceShowbiz - Jessica Biel is aware of the need of sexual education especially for women. Justin Timberlake's wife told Glamour she teamed up with WomanCare Global founder Saundra Pelletier to launch an online sex-ed series after the former realized she "didn't know what's going on inside her body."

The 33-year-old actress recalled the time when she and Justin were ready to have a baby two years ago. "I've been on the Pill for so long; how hard will it be to get pregnant?" she said. "Now what happens?" She was then curious about other basic facts regarding sex and conceiving. "Suddenly I realized I really didn't know what's going on inside my own body," she said. "It was shocking."

Though things like menstruation and the Pill are hardly popular causes for celebrities, Jessica realized that sharing such educative information to many people would be helpful, especially for girls who are in puberty. She recalled how embarrassed she was when she got her period in fifth grade. "I was in a school play, wearing a gray beard and this pad the size of a skateboard and thinking, 'What is happening to me?' " she said.

"We want girls to know what their [body is going through] so they don't feel scared or ashamed or gross," Jessica said. The actress also dished on how the online sex-ed series would be. She explained, "We share girl stories, fears, and insecurities. The tone is informative but also goofy, smart, witty."
