AceShowbiz - Blake Lively breaks her silence on accusation that she's throwing shade at Taylor Swift. The "Gossip Girl" actress took to Instagram on Saturday, September 12 to deny the rumors and say that she actually wanted to marry Swift instead.
"Umm whoever thought I was throwin shade clearly doesn't know I have a 'Taylor Swift Please Be My Wife Voo Doo Doll' #obsessed," Lively wrote alongside a picture of Swift with the actress' niece.
"Look how rad she is here making my niece Heather feel like a rock star. Love my Canadian family almost as much as I love Taylor Lively. I mean Swift," the 28-year-old joked. "Ok, FIIINE we can hyphenate our last names. Xo Blake Swift-Lively 4eva."
Lively was accused of dissing Swift after she posted on Instagram on Thursday a snap from L'Oreal's campaign for the brand's Color Riche lipstick collection. The snap showed a group of girls who resembled girl squad in "Bad Blood" music video. The picture came along with the caption, "..soooo, turns out this WASN'T a video shoot for John Legend's cover of Bad Blood."
The alleged diss was apparent as Lively wrote, "@lorealparisofficial blew [Bad Blood] out for this one." Later on, she added, "My #pinkobsession is exposed no[.] Ok your turn. I won't tell!" She then invited people to encourage Legend to cover Swift's "Bad Blood" as saying, "#AlsoTurnsOutJohnLegendIsntCoveringBadBlood. Time to start a petition!"
