AceShowbiz - Bobby Brown, joined by his wife Alicia Etheredge, made his first TV interview in the Friday, September 11 episode of "The Real" since his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown's death. While talking about losing his daughter, the R&B singer said her late mother Whitney Houston might play a part in her death.

"We prayed and hoped for six months, you know, for something better to happen," Bobby said. "But when God calls you, he calls you." Bobbi Kristina died on July 26 at 22 years old after months in a medically induced coma following a bathtub incident. She was found facedown and unresponsive in her bathtub in her Georgia home on January 31.

The 46-year-old singer went on joking that his ex-wife Whitney might have a part in Bobbi Kristina's passing. "I'm pretty sure her mother was...had a part with like, 'Come on, let's get her up here.' " As the panel couldn't help giggling, Alicia added, "[Had a part] in the best way...in the welcoming way."

As to why Whitney would do that, Bobby continued, "She was not comfortable by herself, I guess. She just called my daughter with her." Whitney died three years ago after suffering a heart attack and drowning in a bathtub in a Beverly Hills hotel. She was buried in New Jersey and her daughter Bobbi Kristina was laid to rest next to her.
