The 1D member is holding his face while walking off the stage after a fan threw a can filled with water and hit him in the face.

AceShowbiz - Harry Styles was pelted with a can during a One Direction recent tour stop at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. He was hit in the face with a Red Bull bottle filled with water as he walked on the stage to wrap up the show with his bandmates.

The boybander wore a casual dark t-shirt and jeans combo during the concert. He looked in pain as he walked off stage while bowing and holding his face. The girl who supposedly threw the can at the star was caught on camera laughing after the incident.

She then tweeted, "I accidentally hit him in the face and he doesn't even notice me [crying emoji] what a waste." Her attempt to make light of the situation apparently didn't sit well with 1D's fans. "If it makes you feel any better, a security guard literally threatened to sue me if harry was badly injured," she added later.

She then mentioned that she got a lot of backlash and even death threats. "If I'm such a fake fan like you say, then why would I buy an expensive ticket just to throw something @ them ? It's irrelevant," she wrote. "I know throwing it was wrong and disgusting but I did it and there's nothing we can do about it now."

"As I've said so many times, I'm truly sorry. I apologize to Harry and his family for doing such a ridiculous and stupid thing. I laughed because I was shocked and I didn't know what to do. I never meant to hurt him. I love Harry with all my heart and I promise you I feel so bad. I'm sure Harry doesn't want his fans to tell someone that they should die, not even after what I did."

While Harry remains silent regarding the incident, his mother begs fans on Twitter to stop the nasty comments. "OK peeps!! Please do not turn to bullying @HannaCooke17 ... that serves no purpose. Please just learn from the incident & be kind," she wrote.

The mother had earlier slammed the girl, "No harm done ... This time ... Unless you're on a sports field is it acceptable to throw things at people?! I think not."
