Danica McKellar Added as Miss America Judge

The 'Wonder Years' actress joins the panel that includes Zendaya Coleman and Brett Eldredge at the 95th Miss America competition.

AceShowbiz - Danica McKellar is the latest addition to the judge panel at the next Miss America. She will join singer/actress Zendaya Coleman, country music crooner Brett Eldredge, author Taya Kyle, "Shark Tank" star Kevin O'Leary, and Paralympics bronze medalist Amy Purdy.

"The Miss America Organization shares my passion for the advancement of women in the STEM fields and celebrates smart, strong women," McKellar said in a statement. "I am proud to be part of the show and an organization that is such a huge advocate for education."

Danica McKellar is an actress, mathematician, and author. Her books targeting young students include "Math Doesn't Suck: How to Survive Middle School Math Without Losing Your Mind or Breaking a Nail", "Hot X: Algebra Exposed", and "Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape".

She is best known for her role on "The Wonder Years". She has also appeared on "How I Met Your Mother", "The West Wing", and "The Big Bang Theory". Last year, she competed on "Dancing with the Stars".

The 95th Miss America Competition will broadcast live from Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on Sunday, September 13 on ABC. Chris Harrison and Brooke Burke-Charvet will host the beauty pageant while Nick Jonas will curate the music. The final judge is expected to be revealed next week.
