The 'Witches of East End' star plays Lois Lane's sister, and her father General Sam Lane may appear on the CBS new series as well.

AceShowbiz - Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) meets her love interest Jimmy Olsen's (Mehcad Brooks) ex in a new photo from "Supergirl". The picture gives a first look at Jenna Dewan-Tatum as Lucy Lane.
Lucy has been described as "strong, smart and successful in her own right. She's got a history with Jimmy Olsen and she's come to town to right a previous wrong." She will first appear in the third episode of the first season.
Talking to EW, executive producer Ali Adler reveals how Lucy's arrival will impact Kara. "We hope to explore the history that Lucy has with James Olsen - or, as Lucy knows him, Jimmy Olsen," he says.
"Supergirl", set to premiere Monday, October 26 at 8:30 P.M. on CBS, centers on Superman's cousin Kara Zor-El, who also lands on Earth after escaping Krypton. She's been hiding the powers she shares with Superman, but later decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.
