The 'Die Young' singer will guest star as a musician who lives next door to Jane.

AceShowbiz - Kesha (previously known as Ke$ha) is moving to Jane's (Gina Rodriguez) neighborhood. The pop singer is booked as a guest star for the upcoming season 2 of the CW dramedy. The "We R Who We R" hitmaker will play Annabelle, a rocker who becomes a neighboor of Jane. A colorful musician, she "isn't exactly a baby person."

"We are so thrilled Kesha will be appearing on Jane! We are all huge fans of hers, and we are so excited to welcome her to the 'Jane the Virgin' family," says executive producer and series creator Jennie Snyder Urman.

She will appear in the second episode of the season. Expressing her excitement to guest star on the series, the 28-year-old rapper/songwriter tweeted, "Stoked!!!!! I'll be making a guest starring appearance on @CWJanetheVirgin on @CW!"

Kesha joins another pop star, Britney Spears, who was previously announced to guest star in the second season of the show. The "Toxic" singer will appear in the fifth season as Rogelio's (Jaime Camil) "nemesis."

Earlier this month, Urman teased Spears' upcoming appearance on the show, "Personally, after hearing about their long standing fued (from Rogelio's point of view), we are eager to hear Ms. Spears' side of the story, which we assume is quite different."

"Jane the Virgin" season 2 premieres Monday, October 12 at 9 P.M. on The CW.
