Paula Deen and Chaka Khan Rumored for 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 21

The disgraced celebrity chef and the legendary musician are reportedly added to 'DWTS' season 21 along with Bindi Irwin, Victor Espinoza, and Nick Carter.

AceShowbiz - More celebrities rumored to compete for the Mirror Ball in the upcoming season 21 of "Dancing with the Stars". Paula Deen, the famed chef who fell from her grace following racism scandal, is reportedly added to the lineup along with music icon Chaka Khan.

According to E! News, Deen was approached to join the ABC dancing competition twice in the past. The former Food Network star turned down the offer to do the show in 2010 and then rejected another offer for season 17 in 2013 when she came under fire for her racial comments.

"DWTS" will kick off the new season on September 14 at 8 P.M. ET on ABC. So far, the official contestants are Bindi Irwin, Victor Espinoza, and Nick Carter. Meanwhile, the pro-dancers confirmed for the new cycle are Derek Hough, Karina Smirnoff, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Mark Ballas, Artem Chigvintsev, Allison Holker, Sharna Burgess, Peta Murgatroyd, and Witney Carson.
