'Captain America: Civil War', 'Independence Day: Resurgence' and 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Wrap Production

The cast and crew of the three highly-anticipated movies announce the end of filming by uploading some photos which feature themselves celebrating the moment.

AceShowbiz - Three of 2016's highly-anticipated movies have wrapped their productions. "Captain America: Civil War" film crew celebrated the end of the shooting in Germany on August 22. Director Roland Emerich also announced the end of filming for "Independence Day: Resurgence". Another film which completed production was "X-Men: Apocalypse".

The official Facebook account of Imperrii, a bar and restaurant in Leipzig, Germany, where the crew and cast of "Civil War" held a party, took to Facebook to share the happy moment. "Thank you for this Party!!" read the caption of the photo. At the end of the party, the actors such as Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan gave their autographs to the bar.

"Captain America: Civil War" features the issue of superhuman registration which splits the mightiest heroes into two. One side forms around the Cap in fighting against it, and the other forms around Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) in defending it. The film will arrive in North America on May 6, 2016.

The cast and crew of "Independence Day: Resurgence" might also be pleased as they already finished the production. Emmerich posted on Twitter a picture of rainbow and captioned it, "And that's a wrap on @IDResurgance. Thank you Albuquerque, New Mexico, you've been amazing." Producer-composer Harald Kloser also posted a picture on Twitter which indicated that they had already finished filming.

The sequel comes 20 years after the alien invasion in the first film. It follows the nations of Earth which have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet by using a recovered alien technology. The sci-fi movie, which stars Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum and Joey King, will be released on June 24, 2016.

Meanwhile, Olivia Munn and director Bryan Singer also announced that they already wrapped the production of "X-Men: Apocalypse". Munn posted photos on Instagram from the film's wrap party. The photo features herself, the director, Ben Hardy and Alexandra Shipp. "A director and his #horsemen," she captioned the photo. The three actors in the photo and Michael Fassbender portray the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse, the main nemesis played by Oscar Isaac.

"Apocalypse" takes place a decade after "Days of Future Past" when a newly-unleashed enemy attacks the world. Starring James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence and other famous actors, the film is scheduled for a release on May 27, 2016.
