Matthew McCarthy considers to file a lawsuit against the '19 Kids and Counting' star for defamation of character.

AceShowbiz - Josh Duggar's cheating scandal could land him in court. A DJ named Matthew McCarthy, whose picture was allegedly used by the former TLC reality star in his OKCupid profile, considers legal action against the married father of four.

According to a digging by Gawker, Duggar's Ashley Madison email login, [email protected], matched an OkCupid profile with a similar handle, joesmithsonnwa. It's believed that Duggar used another person's image to hide his true identity and chose McCarthy's image since the DJ's pic was one of the first to pop up when one searched for "random guy" on Google.

McCarthy told TMZ that the revelation cost him at least one deejay gig in Hollywood because the club didn't want to be linked to the Duggar scandal. He plans to sue the "19 Kids and Counting" star on the ground of defamation.

Aside from joining Ashley Madison and OkCupid, Josh Duggar may also have created a Facebook account for his secret alter ego. According to New York Daily News, a dodgy FB account by the name "Joe Smithson" with around 30 friends many of whom were married women may belong to Duggar. He is also speculated to use another person's picture to cover his track. This time around, the photo belongs to Jonathan Blankfein, a former Goldman Sachs employee and son of CEO Lloyd Blankfein.

The "joesmithsonnwa" has since been deleted from OKCupid and the "Joe Smithson" on Facebook has been inactive.
