The 'Teen Mom 2' star was taken into custody on Thursday, August 20 in Horry County, South Carolina after allegedly throwing a drinking glass at her ex-fiance's new girlfriend.

AceShowbiz - Jenelle Evans has been arrested for the third time this year. The "Teen Mom 2" star was taken into custody after she allegedly threw a drinking glass at a woman who was believed to be Nathan Griffith's new girlfriend.

According to Myrtle Beach Online, the victim told police she was accompanying Nathan to his old residence in Horry County, South Carolina to help him retrieve his personal belongings since he no longer lives there. Jenelle later allegedly threw a glass at her head and injured her. Jenelle was charged with assault in third degree.

Jenelle's rep Johnny Donovan told HollywoodLife that the 23-year-old reality star wasn't the only one at fault for the incident, claiming Nathan "provoked the situation." Johnny said, "I feel Nathan provoked the situation by bringing his current girlfriend to Jenelle's house. He shouldn't have brought his new girlfriend with him, he was very clearly trying to stir up trouble."

"Jenelle's been very focused on doing her best for her and her sons and then this happens," the rep added, "Nathan has no respect for her. You don't bring your new girlfriend to your ex fiancee's new house. He has no respect for her. He just doesn't care."

Back in May, Jenelle was arrested after allegedly assaulting Nathan. She was also taken into custody in February for driving with suspended license.
