Palicki's 'S.H.I.E.L.D' character Bobbi Morse a.k.a. the Mockingbird will share the screen with Nick Blood's Lance Hunter.

AceShowbiz - The Mockingbird series is not dead after all. ABC has ordered a pilot for "Marvel's Most Wanted" starring Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse and Nick Blood as Lance Hunter.

ABC had actually announced in April this year that it was developing the spin-off centering on Palicki's character on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.". However, the network announced during upfronts a month later that it decided not to move forward with the plan.

However, the Alphabet was having second thoughts and has now committed to a pilot created by "S.H.I.E.L.D" producers Jeff Bell and Paul Zbyszewski. These two will co-write the pilot in addition to running the show. Marvel's head of television Jeph Loeb will also exec-produce.

According to Variety's insiders, the series is not a spin-off "but rather an entirely new project solely focused on the two characters to continue their story." The initial plan was to follow the events in the penultimate episode where Morse was kidnapped by Ward (Brett Dalton). "Though plot details are scarce at this point, 'Marvel's Most Wanted' will follow the pair and their adventures together," Variety reported.

No more details such as premiere date are unveiled.
