The former 'Charmed' actress says she is 'currently undergoing treatment' and is grateful for the outpouring support coming her way.

AceShowbiz - Shannen Doherty has spoken out since her breast cancer diagnosis came to light in a lawsuit against management firm Tanner Mainstain. "Yes, I have breast cancer, and I am currently undergoing treatment," the former "Charmed" star said.
"I am continuing to eat right, exercise and stay very positive about my life," the 44-year-old actress added in a statement to PEOPLE. "I am thankful to my family, friends and doctors for their support and, of course, my fans who have stood by me."
Doherty found out that "she had invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node" in March 2015. According to her doctor, the cancer spread during 2014 when she was uninsured.
The actress claims her insurance policy was canceled after Tanner Mainstain, who managed her finances until February 2014, ignored a 2013 invoice for her medical insurance coverage for the year 2014.
In response, the company said, "Tanner Mainstain is saddened to learn that Ms. Doherty is suffering from cancer and wishes her a full recovery. However, the claim that Tanner Mainstain caused her to be uninsured, prevented her from seeking medical care, or somehow contributed to her cancer is patently false. Tanner Mainstain will aggressively defend all of Ms. Doherty's claims in court."
