Nicki Minaj's Wax Figure to Be Reworked Due to Groping
Celebrity

The female rapper was upset when finding out that many visitors treated her figure inappropriately.

AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj's wax work at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas was groped too many times that it would be remodeled. The museum called the visitors' inappropriate behavior "unfortunate".

The figure was made based off the rapper's music video for "Anaconda". It displays a scantily-clad Minaj on all fours. One visitor posed with her tongue about to lick the figure's butt. A man put his hands on the fake rear while another even posed like he was having sex with the figure from behind.

"Madame Tussauds attractions are interactive, immersive experiences, and our visitors are generally respectful towards the wax figures," it said in a statement Tuesday, August 18. "It is unfortunate that this visitor decided to behave so inappropriately and we apologize for any offense this has caused."

The museum is also tightening security around the figure. "We do have staff monitoring guest behavior in the attraction and do our utmost to ensure our wax figures are treated respectfully, but on this occasion clearly one of of our hosts was not present," the statement continued.

Minaj knows about the misconduct against her wax. "Why must yall b this way," she wrote under a photo. She actually was surprised that Madame Tussauds would choose the pose. She said she "had no idea they were really doing this" when the figure was unveiled on August 4.
