The 'Beverly Hills, 90210' alum sues Tanner, Mainstain, Glynn and Johnson for allegedly mismanaging her finances and reveals she has 'invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node.

AceShowbiz - Shannen Doherty has filed a lawsuit against management firm Tanner, Mainstain, Glynn & Johnson, who managed her finances until February 2014. In the legal papers, the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress reveals that she has breast cancer.

According to the 44-year-old star, the firm regularly received 5|percent| of her earnings to manage her finances including her health insurance payments. However, they ignored a 2013 premium invoice for her medical insurance coverage for the year 2014.

The lapse led to the cancellation of her policy. In March this year after getting her insurance back, she started seeing doctors again and found out she had "invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node." According to her doctor, the cancer spread during 2014 when she was uninsured.

"Plaintiff was also informed that, had she been insured and able to visit her doctor, the cancer could potentially have been stopped, thus obviating the need for the future treatment (including mastectomy and chemotherapy) that Plaintiff will likely have to suffer through now," she says in her complaint.

Tanner, Mainstain, Glynn & Johnson are also facing a legal battle against Shannen Doherty's husband, photographer Kurt Iswarienko. He claims the firm failed to make payments on a mortgage loan for his investment property, resulting in a "quick foreclosure and loss of the Property, which Plaintiff was powerless to stop." He also sues the company regarding taxes and missed credit card bill payments.

Last year, the management firm was also named in allegations that James Franco management commissions had been diverted. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the case was settled.
