The sixth-place finalist on 'American Idol' season 4 was taken into custody after sending his former girlfriend an email, which he claimed was an accident.

AceShowbiz - Constantine Maroulis landed in hot water again. The sixth-place finalist on "American Idol" season 4 was arrested for the second time in a week. He was accused of violating a restraining order placed by his former girlfriend, Angel Reed, against him.

Maroulis reportedly sent Reed, who is the mother of his 4-year-old child, an email despite the fact that he was banned by court from contacting her after a physical altercation at their home on August 11. In his defense, his rep said the email was an accident.

"Constantine accidentally sent her an email last night. It's truly a non-issue. To the best of my understanding, he was doing a lot of emails late at night, and she accidentally got included on a list. He has no interest in being in touch with her. His only interest is in seeing his child as soon as he can."

The "Idol" alum has since been released on bail. His second arrest came after he was accused of throwing his baby mama on the ground and kicking her in the groin. The singer denied the allegations, insisting that he was the victim, not the aggressor. The feud reportedly happened when he tried to break up with her.
