New Evidence Sparks Rumor About The Joker's Secret Identity
Movie

A new evidence obtained by a fan seems to suggest that The Joker used to be Robin in the DC Extended Universe as there is a similarity between them.

AceShowbiz - There have been rumblings that The Joker has a surprisingly close relationship with Batman in the DC Extended Universe. A Reddit user, DeathbyRequest, recently started another speculation that The Joker used to be Robin in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".

The Reddit user found another evidence which implied that The Joker was Robin at one point. There is a similarity between the first image of The Joker released by "Suicide Squad" director David Ayer and the Robin costume in the Comic-Con trailer of "Batman v Superman". The Joker has wounds in both of his shoulders and the costume of Robin in the trailer seems to be torn at the same spot as The Joker's injury. Thus, it suggests that Jared Leto's character was once Robin, until something terrible happened and changed him into a bad guy [The Joker]. However, it is just a rumor and there is no confirmation as of now.

Aside from "Batman v Superman", fans can still expect that The Joker turns into a good guy in "Suicide Squad", which will premiere in the U.S. on August 5, 2016. It is not impossible to see The Joker as a protagonist since the movie will feature several supervillains teaming up on a covert mission to help the government.

"Batman v Superman" features a lot of hero-against-hero scenes in a war between the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel. Directed by Zack Snyder, the movie will arrive in North America on March 25, 2016.
