Ronda Rousey Shares Artworks of Herself as Captain Marvel

Ever since she expressed her interest in playing the female superhero, the MMA champion has received some artworks which give a look at herself in full costume as Captain Marvel.

AceShowbiz - Although Marvel hasn't tapped any actress to portray the lead role for "Captain Marvel", Ronda Rousey has expressed her interest in playing the female superhero. She posted some artworks of herself as the female hero, vying for the coveted role.

Ever since Rousey hinted that she wanted to play Captain Marvel during Reddit AMA on August 11, the MMA champion has received so many artworks from artists and fans which depict some possible looks at Rousey as Captain Marvel if she really signs on for the movie. "Since the Reddit AMA, I've received so many badass Ms. Marvel/Captain Marvel edits!" read the caption of the artworks. "There were so many cool ones I couldn't pick just one to share," she added while giving credits to the creators of the artworks.

Carol Danvers a.k.a. Ms. Marvel is one of Marvel superheroine who receives superhuman abilities after being caught in the explosion of a piece of Kree technology. With all abilities she has, Danvers becomes the hero known as Captain Marvel, and eventually becomes a member of the Avengers.

Besides Rousey, some actresses such as Charlize Theron, Bryce Dallas Howard and Emily Blunt have been rumored for the role. "Captain Marvel" is slated for a U.S. release on November 2, 2018, joining other Phase Three films such as Benedict Cumberbatch's "Doctor Strange" and Chadwick Boseman's "Black Panther".
