New Report Suggests Deadly Event That Will Cause the War in 'Captain America: Civil War'
Movie

There will reportedly be an international incident involving some primary characters which triggers the Sokovia Accords in the third installment of 'Captain America' movie series.

AceShowbiz - Alleged details about the infamous international incident which triggers the Sokovia Accords and then leads to a major conflict between Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) in "Captain America: Civil War" have emerged online. According to Umberto Gonzalez of Heroic Hollywood, the international incident will involve some primary characters.

In the comics, the incident which will cause the Civil War is "when the New Warriors destroy several city blocks in an attempt to apprehend a supervillain, causing the deaths of more than 600 civilians, prompting the Superhero Registration Act, which requires all superpowered beings to register with the government, reveal their secret identities, and receive 'proper' training and operate under the employ of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Sources tell Umberto that the international incident in the movie [SPOILER ALERT!] "involving the Avengers that results in collateral damage involves Captain America and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) who are trying to apprehend Crossbones (Frank Grillo). The only problem is that Crossbones is wearing a suicide vest full of nasty explosives. In order to protect the civilians on the ground, Captain America orders Scarlet Witch to levitate Crossbones above ground. She does and unfortunately is unable to contain the massive explosion that sets off near a populated building causing death and destruction."

In a scene from "Ant-Man", a passenger on the San Fran trolley can be seen reading a newspaper with the headline, "Who's To Blame For Sokovia?" and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) says the Avengers are too busy dropping cities out of the sky, a reference to an event in "Avengers: Age of Ultron".

"Ant-Man" second post-credits scene also teases The Accords when Captain America references that Iron Man might not be able to help him and Falcon with Bucky (Sebastian Stan).

"Captain America: Civil War" is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on May 6, 2016.
