The series' creator has confirmed Spears' taping, revealing she is set to guest star as Rogelio's 'nemesis.'

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears is heading to small screen. The 33-year-old singer has been tapped to guest star on the upcoming second season of CW hit series "Jane the Virgin", which set to be premiered on October 12.
The series' creator Jennie Snyder Urman confirmed Spears' tapping for the show, spilling the beans on the role that she will play in a statement. "We are so thrilled that Rogelio's 'nemesis' - Britney Spears - has agreed to appear on 'Jane The Virgin' in episode 205," read the statement. "Personally, after hearing about their long standing fued (from Rogelio's point of view), we are eager to hear Ms. Spears' side of the story, which we assume is quite different."
Spears herself also confirmed the news via her Twitter on Tuesday, August 11, noting the comedy is one of her "favorite shows ever." "See u at the Marbella Hotel soon, @hereisgina @jaimecamil! Guest starring on one of my favorite shows EVER @CWJaneTheVirgin #DreamComeTrue," read her tweet.
