Jennifer Lawrence Makes Surprise Visit to a Children's Hospital in Montreal

The 24-year-old actress took a break from filming 'X-Men: Apocalypse' in Montreal on Friday, August 7 to visit Shriners Hospitals for Children.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence made a surprise visit to Shriners Hospitals for Children in Montreal on Saturday, August 8. The star of "The Hunger Games" was in the city to film her upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse".

Jennifer posed for pictures with the children and staff members at the hospital. The hospital shared the photos on Facebook along with caption, "A very special visitor stopped by our Canada hospital today. Jennifer Lawrence is in Montreal filming a new movie and she made time to visit some of our #ShrinersCanada kids and staff. Everyone had a great time!"

Jennifer wore a washed grey top paired with white skinny pants and black sandals. The "Joy" star tied up her blonde hair in a messy bun. In one photo, the "Serena" actress posed alongside a little boy in wheelchair. Another photo showed her posing alongside a boy with walker and some staff members. She also gave a sign on the cast of another boy's arm.

Jennifer stars in "X-Men: Apocalypse" along with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne and Olivia Munn. Directed by Bryan Singer, the ninth installment of "X-Men" film series is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on May 27, 2016.
