The 'Twilight Saga' actress looks enchanting in her period costume to play the only female member of George Washington's 'Culper Ring' of spies.

AceShowbiz - First pictures of Nikki Reed on "Sleepy Hollow" have landed online via Entertainment Weekly. The images give a look at the "Twilight Saga" actress as original American flagmaker Betsy Ross.
She looks enchanting in a tight bodice dress with a full skirt. The actress, who married actor Ian Somerhalder in April this year, completes her look with a feather in her hair and holds a fan in one of the photos.
Betsy Ross was mentioned in season 1 and 2 as Ichabod's (Tom Mison) former flame. She is described as sexy with an unsuspecting physical prowess. In the upcoming season 3, she is depicted as the only female member of George Washington's "Culper Ring" of spies, and her 13-star flag has supernatural properties which will help Ichabod and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) throughout the season.
Reed is added to the cast as a series regular for season 3. "Nikki's the perfect choice to bring a smart and sexy edge to our show's twisted version of American icon, Betsy Ross," said co-creator/EP Len Wiseman when announcing her casting. Fans can expect Reed to show her equestrian skills on the supernatural drama series.
"Sleepy Hollow" returns with the new season Thursday, October 1 at 9 P.M. on FOX. The network is planning for a "Sleepy Hollow" / "Bones" crossover which is going to air around Halloween, on October 29 to be exact.
