Katie (Seyfried) is a young woman who struggles to fight the trauma she has following a series of tragic events which happened in her past.

AceShowbiz - Voltage Pictures has released an international trailer for family drama "Fathers and Daughters". Starring Amanda Seyfried and Russell Crowe, the movie follows a story about a young woman who battles the demons that stemmed from her troubled childhood.

The trailer opens with Katie (Seyfried) meeting a man named Cameron (Aaron Paul) who turns out to be her father's fan. As the narrative waves back, it can be learned that Katie's father, Jake Davis (Crowe), is a famous novelist who writes a novel about his beloved little daughter. A car crash has killed his wife and left him to raise his 5-year-old daughter all alone.

Davis and Katie have a very good father-daughter relationship before a fatal disease forced him to leave Katie. As a series of tragedies has taken away her beloved ones, Katie struggles with a love relationship in which she deals with fright of losing someone she loves.

Seyfied and Crowe lead the cast which also includes Bruce Greenwood, Diane Kruger, Jane Fonda, Janet McTeer, Octavia Spencer, Quvenzhane Wallis and Kylie Rogers. Gabriele Muccino serves behind the lens while Craig J. Flores, Nicolas Chartier and Sherryl Clark produce the movie. "Fathers and Daughters" opens internationally this fall, but it has no U.S. release date just yet.
