AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik showed his support for his former bandmates, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson, following the release of their new single "Drag Me Down". "Proud of my boys the new single is sick. Big love. :) x," so he tweeted.
Malik's relationship with One Direction previously became strained following a twitter spat involving Tomlinson and producer Naughty Boy. The former 1D member has since denounced his friendship with the producer after the later leaked his video.
Malik has been working on his solo debut album after leaving One Direction earlier this year. The 22-year-old singer has just signed a recording deal with RCA Records. Meanwhile, his former boyband is still on tour. "Drag Me Down" marked the group's first single without Malik.
