AceShowbiz - Bobbi Kristina Brown's family gathered at her wake at the Murray Brothers Funeral Home in Atlanta on Friday, July 31 to say their heartbreaking goodbyes. The Brown and the Houston family attended the wake separately.
Pat Houston and Cissy Houston were photographed entering the funeral home on Friday afternoon while Bobbi's father Bobby Brown arrived later with his wife Alicia Etheredge. Tina, Leolah and Bobby Brown Jr. waited in their cars before making their way to the funeral home.
Both families entered the venue through a back entrance. Bobby looked devastated as he left the funeral home in a white limousine.
A funeral service will be held at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia on Saturday, August 1 at 11:00 A.M. It will be a private ceremony restricted to a guest list of family and close friends.
Pat has reportedly been planning a sweet 16-themed funeral for Bobbi, calling it "the sweet 16 she never had." According to Mail Online, some family members opposed the theme. One of the family members, Dionne Warwick, even threatened to boycott Bobbi's funeral.
A source told the site, "Dionne is planning a trip and threatening to not attend the funeral because Pat Houston is taking over even though she should be making decisions with Bobby and not doing it on her own."
"Dionne resents Pat acting like she is the head of the Houston family when in reality she married into the family. Also everyone knows that Bobbi Kristina and Pat didn't get along well after her mother died because she was trying to run her life and tell her what to do with the money she inherited," the source continued, "Pat wants to have a 'sweet sixteen' theme funeral but Dionne feels that is stupid and disrespectful to Bobbi Kristina."
