The duo joined other 'X-Men' cast members in the live reading of 'The Big Lebowski' which was held in Montreal on Friday, July 24.

AceShowbiz - While Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender were currently in Montreal shooting "X-Men: Apocalypse", they collaborated for another project on Friday, July 24. The duo joined Olivia Munn for the Live Read of the 1998 film "The Big Lebowski".

This marked the first time that the event was held in Montreal. Director Jason Reitman normally held the event in Los Angeles. The live read was a part of "Just for Laughs" comedy festival. Fassbender played Jeff Bridges' iconic part of "The Dude" while Lawrence took on Julianne Moore's Maude.

However, it was Patton Oswalt's performance as Walter Sobchak that stole people's attention. Munn performed Tara Reid's Bunny and was joined by the likes of T.J. Miller, Martin Starr and Mike Judge. Besides Oswalt, Mae Whitman, a regular participant in Reitman's live readings back in Los Angeles, was also one of the performers who took big attention from the audience.

Nine cast members on the stage read the Coen brothers' cult-favorite screenplay for an audience of 1,300. The show was very high-in-demand. Previously, it was going to be held in the 420-seat theater, but it was moved to a larger theater to accommodate larger crowds. Some attendees had to wait in line for up to 10 hours for tickets to the Live Read. They queued around the block for a show that started 40 minutes late.

What a blast! #jflmtl @cfccreates @telefilm_
