The reality star formerly known as Bruce Jenner talks about her struggle before transition and introduces herself to her family.

AceShowbiz - In the first episode of "I Am Cait" screened to the press ahead of July 26 premiere, Caitlyn Jenner revealed her suicidal thoughts. The E! reality star formerly known as Bruce Jenner opened up that she once wanted to commit suicide before she underwent transition.

"I've been in some dark places," she said. "I have been in my house with a gun and said, 'Let's just end it right there, no more pain, no more suffering,' that struggle, it's real and I've been there." She was seen visiting a family of a trans teen, Kyler Prescott, who committed suicide.

The episode also featured a family reunion as Caitlyn met her mother, Esther, and sisters, Pam and Lisa, for the first time. "It's going to be so difficult for me to think of you as she," Esther said. "It's not easy but your values are always going to be the same, Bruce will still be there."

It also saw Caitlyn introducing herself to her youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner, on FaceTime. "I don't want to scare you," Caitlyn said, to which Kylie responded, "You're not scaring me, you look pretty!"

Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian appeared on the docu-series as well. "It's one of the strongest things that have happened," the rapper said. "You couldn't have been up against more, you're a celebrity, your daughter is a supermodel, and it was still like, 'f*** everybody, this is who I am.' "

"Kanye and I have never really been that close but I love his open mind," Caitlyn commented, "and I love how he has helped Kim come to grips with this."
