The new suit that features a white-and-gold logo in the chest was first revealed at Comic-Con in San Diego.

AceShowbiz - The CW has released the first official photo of The Flash's new costume that will be donned by Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) in season 2. While it looks a lot similar to the old one, the new suit now features The Flash logo with a gold lightning bolt and a white background, instead of a red-and-gold emblem which was seen in the first season.

The new suit is closer to the comic version. It was first revealed earlier this month when it was displayed at Comic-Con International in San Diego along with other goodies from "The Flash" and "Arrow".

"The Flash" season 2 will introduce Earth-Two, an alternate Earth featuring different heroes and villains. As part of this, Teddy Sears is cast to play Jay Garrick, who in the DC Comics is the original Flash. On the TV show, the character is described as "a mysterious figure who arrives in Central City to warn Barry Allen and his team at S.T.A.R. Labs of an impending danger that he alone cannot hope to stop."

Shantel VanSanten is also tapped to portray Patty Spivot, a new love interest for Barry Allen. Additionally, the show has added Michael Ironside to play Lewis Snart, the estranged, abusive father of villains Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Lisa Snart/Golden Glider (Peyton List). Most recently, it was reported that WWE star Adam "The Edge" Copeland would appear as Atom-Smasher.

The new season will launch Tuesday, October 6 at 8 P.M. on The CW.
