Celebrity

When Radcliffe is confused as he can't find the thing that an employee asks him, the 'Harry Potter' actor says, 'You may wanna come back with somebody more experienced.'

AceShowbiz - Daniel Radcliffe couldn't handle the pressure of being a receptionist. The "Kill Your Darlings" actor had an opportunity to experience the life as receptionist for an hour at NYLON magazine office and admitted, "This is the hardest thing I've ever done."

"Always turn on the NYLON sign. Make sure the newest issue's out. And make sure that you constantly smile," the real receptionist of the office, Lauren Adler, gave a brief direction to Radcliffe. For the actor, sitting down at the receptionist desk was not a big deal as long as there was no one asking for his help.

The staff at the office were not informed about Radcliffe's presence. However, it didn't take long to the point that an employee noticed "the face of Harry Potter" at the receptionist desk. "Wow. Nice to meet you," the surprised employee said. Radcliffe, who looked nervous, said, "I'm filling in for an hour." Some employees who recognized his face chose to play it cool while others bravely asked to take picture with him.

The 25-year-old actor got a hard time when he needed to fulfill his responsibility as a receptionist. When an employee asked his help, Radcliffe reminded him, "I'm like a cut-price, much less efficient version of Lauren [the real receptionist] unless you, like, need a bathroom key, I pretty much have some options." As the employee asked for stamp, the actor, looking confused as he couldn't find stamp, said, "You may wanna come back with somebody more experienced."

"I'm good. I'm struggling with the pressure," so Radcliffe told another employee who asked if he wanted to have some snacks downstairs. "Literally every person passes from the door, it's like 'Don't me. Don't come here.' "

Later on, Joe Jonas came in to the office and said that he had a meeting with someone there. Radcliffe, who looked bewildered, was unable to reach by phone the person Jonas wanted to meet. When Radcliffe went inside to call someone who may know the things better, Jonas grumbled, "This new guy sucks."
