AceShowbiz - After being delayed, the production of "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" will finally begin soon. Milla Jovovich shared a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram which signaled that the production of the movie would start immediately.
The photo features Jovovich getting a special treatment in which her face is being fitted for a cast. Based on the caption Jovovich wrote for the photo, she is set to depart on Thursday, July 16, for South Africa to prepare the production.
The sixth installment of "Resident Evil" movie series was originally supposed to hit theaters in September 2014, but it was delayed because Jovovich and her husband Paul W.S. Anderson were expecting their second child together.
At this early stage, the plot details of the movie are scarce, but it will obviously include the epic action-packed battle between humans and zombies. Previous rumors said all the main protagonists such as Alice, Jill, Ada, Leon, Chris, Claire and Wesker would be returning to prevent The Red Queen from destroying the human race.
Jovovich leads the cast which also includes Wentworth Miller and Li Bingbing. Written, produced and directed by Anderson, the action thriller movie is expected to arrive in 2016.
