15-year-old Arthur Cave suffers from life-threatening injuries and dies in hospital after falling from a seaside cliff in Brighton.

AceShowbiz - Nick Cave and family are mourning the loss of his son, Arthur Cave. The teenager fell from a 60-foot seaside cliff in Brighton, England. He died in a nearby hospital after being found with life-threatening injuries at the bottom of the Ovingdean Gap cliff. He was 15.

"Our son Arthur died on Tuesday evening. He was our beautiful, happy loving boy," say the Australian rocker and his wife, Susie Bick, in a statement after the sad news broke out. "We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this difficult time."

The couple and Arthur's twin brother, Earl Cave, visited the top of the cliffs where flowers were left by mourners to pay tribute to the fallen boy. One bouquet with a heartbreaking note from Earl said, "Arthur - I love you so much. You were a joy to be around and I will never forget you. You were the best brother I could ever ask for."

Police believed Arthur may have died in a tragic accident, not a suicide. It's unclear how he fell from the cliff where there is fencing.
